The firefighters in Breaux Bridge are preparing to hold their 69th Annual Barbecue Fundraiser.
You can buy a two-dinner ticket by mailing a check for $20 to the station located at 225 N. Main St., Breaux Bridge, La. 70517.
The money raised will be used to buy new equipment and to make repairs to old equipment.
The fundraiser will be held June 2nd.
According to the firefighters,the department was started in 1876. Currently there is 28 members who work in 2 stations and operate 10 units both inside and outside the city limits of Breaux Bridge.
