Chamber of Commerce weather this weekend for Festival International as we will have bright sunny skies both days with comfortable temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Just remember the sunscreen and to mix in water with your beverages to stay hydrated if you are going to be out enjoying the great weather at Festival.
Heading into next week clouds will build back over Acadiana Monday through Wednesday but we will still have a decent amount of sunshine warming temperatures into the low to mid 80s.
Now we will have a steady southeasterly breeze pumping Gulf moisture over Acadiana increasing humidity levels through first half of week warming overnight lows to near 70.
Also, this extra moisture could lead to a couple stray showers popping up each afternoon but rain chances will not be more than 10-20%.
The next best chance for scattered showers looks to be Thursday as a weak cool front/shortwave tries to swing down over Acadiana.
A few showers could linger into Friday as the system is still located near the region but things look to start drying out into next weekend.
