Today’s Cool School is Westside Elementary!
Students at Westside Elementary in Scott, are exploring all forms of energy in Mrs. Buckner and Ms. Picquet’s 4th grade classes. They were challenged to ask questions and predict outcomes about the changes in energy that occur when objects collide. This week the classes learned about kinetic and potential energy. In the activity, students built Bumper Coasters and experimented to build a deeper understanding of hills, as they relate to energy. Students are engaged, having fun and learning that energy is all around us!
