Local flooding is being reported in numerous locations in Acadiana.
Videos and photos are coming in to our newsroom as strong storms continue to push through the area. Motorists are asked to avoid flooded roadways. Any closures can be found here.

Another video shows large areas of flooded roads in Morse. The road is barely visible as a a vehicle moves through a neighborhood.

Concerned viewers in Abbeville shared a look at the sky as storms move through. At a 1:00 p.m. update Meteorologist Rob Perillo paid close attention to a possible area of concern nearing Pecan Island. As of that time, no warning have been issued.
Opelousas also seeing some local flooding viewers Jean Paul Joubert and Ashley Franchebois sharing photos of streets with considerable flooding.

Video from Rhone Village in Crowley shows flooding near homes. Resident Mary George says that water is in some of the homes seen in the video.
