Mondelez International, the maker of Chips Ahoy, is issuing a limited voluntary recall of 13oz packages of Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies.

The recall, issued on April 13,  is being conducted due to the potential for the product to contain an “unexpected solidified ingredient.”

Mondelez says that some adverse health effects have been reported.

The recall is limited to the following cookie product:

Chips Ahoy Chewy Cookies (13 oz) with the UPC code of 044000032234 and a “Best when used by” date of Sept. 7, Sept. 8, Sept. 14, and Sept. 15, 2019.
