A call about a burglar in an Oregon home ended with a surprise after deputies say the suspect was nothing more than a trapped Roomba vacuum.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office shared a social media post about the call that happened on Monday afternoon.

Deputies say a woman called 911 and told dispatch that a person was locked inside her bathroom and that she could see shadows hear noises from under the door.

The house was quickly surrounded by deputies and a canine was called in to assist with the incident. Deputies say several calls for the subject to surrender went unheeded.

More frequent “rustlings” from inside the bathroom led deputies to enter with their guns drawn. Upon entering, deputies say they found the robot vacuum and a very clean bathroom.
