LAFAYETTE, La. – It’s officially festival season.
The flag was raised at city hall this morning.
Everyone is encouraged to purchase and fly your Festival International de Louisiane flag in support of the 33rd annual festival.
For organizers, the flag raising kicks off a flurry of activity.
“Each year, this is the time when you just have this list of stuff to do and sometimes we’re not sure how it’s gonna get done, but when it comes together finally, it’s magic, so we’re excited,” said Scott Feehan, Executive Director, Festival International.
