Police in Georgia are searching for a driver who struck a 9-year-old girl playing in the front yard of her Georgia home on Friday.

According to ABC News, LaDerihanna Holmes was playing in her yard with another girl in Lithonia, Georgia when a black sedan jumped the curb and slammed into her and the family’s home.

LaDerihanna reportedly received multiple injuries including fractures to her skull and pelvis.

Surveillance video released by the family captures the events of the crash.

Following the incident, several people are seen rushing outside to help. Police tell ABC News that the driver exited the vehicle through the passenger side door and fled the scene. The family says a second person also fled from the vehicle.

The vehicle’s owner told police that she lent her car to her boyfriend while she was at work. No information about the suspect was released.

LaDerihanna’s family tells ABC News that she is strong and they are confident that she will recover.
