Tickets are going on sale Friday morning for an additional concert for Grammy winner and Lafayette native Lauren Daigle.
The ticket sales go live at 10:00 a.m. on Friday March 1, 2019. The date was added earlier this week to her already sold out shows at the Heymann Center set for July 5 and 6.
As part of her Look Up Child World Tour, an additional performance was added to the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra’s Season Finale concert series, Music & Faith, featuring Lauren Daigle. Lauren will be performing her latest selections alongside the local musicians of the ASO.
The first 2 concert of the Season Finale have been sold out since late last year.
“We are so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra be part of Lauren Daigle’s Look Up Child World Tour. And, getting to add a 3rd show to our Season Finale series, Music & Faith is next level for this community nonprofit,” said Dana P. Baker, executive director of the ASO. “Not only does this mean another opportunity for her fans to witness this special collaboration, this concert series means valuable work and additional jobs for our local musicians – the lifeblood of the ASO. Lauren’s immeasurable talent combined with our extraordinary musicians is a once in a lifetime experience for fans – and Acadiana gets three of them.”
That third date, set for July 7, is also expected to sell quickly. This additional show comes at the release of ticket sales for Daigle’s Look Up Child world tour.
The tour will begin in Kansas City, Missouri, with concerts also set for the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Before her Lafayette shows, Daigle will be in Louisiana twice, with performances in Shreveport and New Orleans.
