KATC TV3 now on Playstation Vue, Hulu

KATC TV3 is now on PlayStation Vue and Hulu streaming services.

PlayStation Vue is a live-streaming service that lets you watch live TV, movies, news and sports across the USA without a cable or satellite subscription. You don’t need a PlayStation console to watch it, but you can watch it on 3 and 4 consoles, and you can use it with several TV and mobile devices, including Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, computers and mobile devices.

Hulu is a streaming service that offers live and on-demand TV and movies, with and without commercials, both in and outside the home. KATC TV3 is offered on Hulu + Live TV, which is $39.99 monthly with ads, and $43.99 without ads. You get to set up profiles for each viewer, and save up to 50 hours on a cloud DVR.

KATC went on the air in the fall of 1962 as an affiliate of the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012.

Each week, more than 377,000 people tune into KATC-TV3 for local and national news, talk/variety and game shows, soap operas, information and entertainment, sports, movies, children’s, and public affairs programming.

KATC-TV3’s live local newscasts, “Acadiana’s Newschannel” at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. have won numerous awards, including multiple Associated Press awards for the Best Local Newscast in the Acadiana market.
