Update: She has been found.
The Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a woman missing since yesterday morning.
The family of Bonnie Venable says they have not heard from her after she stopped for gas on her way back home to Abbeville around 4 a.m. on February 13, 2019.
The Sheriff’s office is using all of their resources to find Venable and her vehicle.
Major Darryl LeBlanc says through the course of the investigation, detectives determined her car was last seen at 6:41 p.m., Wednesday, driving north on highway 90 near the airport in Lafayette.
Police say they cannot confirm that she was driving.
Venable’s vehicle is a 2014 white Kia Optima with the license plate number ZDN 993.
