Livestock are taking over Blackham Coliseum as the Acadiana District Livestock Show continues in Lafayette.
Over 400 4-H and Future Farmers of Ameria exhibitors from across Acadiana will be showing their best animals. Over 900 animals are expected to file through the Coliseum.
Friday, events started at 8 am with the dairy cattle, swine, beef cattle show followed by the sheep show at 4:30 pm.
A goat and beef cattle show will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, beginning at 8:00 am followed by a poultry show on at 9:00 am.
