NEW ORLEANS – Haydel’s Bakery is making sure their customers can take a bite out of the refs in cookie form.
Monday, the bakery posted to Facebook about a new cookie. The “No Ref” cookie was created following the Saints loss to the Rams on Sunday.
On Facebook, Haydel’s says ” Feed your anger for the refs of yesterday’s game, LITERALLY!”
The cookie is covering in white icing with a photo of a referee in the center. Over that is a read line crossing out the referee.
The “No Ref” cookie is in response to a missed call that many Saints fans are saying cost them the game.
The LA Rams will move forward to the Superbowl, taking on the New England Patriots on February 3, 2019.
