A song by an Acadiana band is featured in a movie for the second time.

Bobby Page and the Riff-Raffs wrote “I Love My Baby” while they were in high school in the 50s.

The song was picked up by producers of “Company Man” nine years ago and now it will be in the movie “Green Book.”

According to IMDb, “Green Book” follows a working-class Italian-American bouncer who becomes the driver of an African-American classical pianist on a tour of venues through the 1960s American South.  The movie which was released in 2018 stars Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen.

KATC caught up with band members for their reaction to finding out their music was in the movie.

“When we saw it on the credit at the end of the movie, we let out a cheer like LSU had scored a touchdown,” Page said

“We was all floored. It’s unbelievable, I mean, I’m in a movie,” member VJ Boulet added.
