LAFAYETTE (KATC) — Over the past few seasons Teurlings has been unable to get to the Division III state championship. For the Rebels to get over the hump, Julia Collette stands to play a big role.
The Rebels are ranked 3rd this season in Division III thus far and seek leadership in their senior midfielder. A season ago she scored twice in a playoff win over St. Michael.
Julia isn’t know necessarily as the Rebels’ top scorer but takes her chances where they’re there.
“I’m more of a person that likes assists than goals,” she said. “I like to get the ball somewhere where someone can finish it.”
“It’s a huge part of our success that if she has a free shot she’s going to take it, but she takes joy in setting up her teammates,” said head coach Dave Lapeyrouse.
