The Veterans Memorial Park in St. Landry Parish was vandalized over the weekend.
Deputies were called to the park located on Hwy 182 Sunday afternoon following a complaint that the information board was damaged by graffiti. The suspect or suspects used red paint to write racial slurs and other profanity on the memorial.
