Alexander Books has found a new home on Johnston Street, near the UL campus.
The new owner says the store will have the same concept as the old one. You can come in and trade in books for new ones, as well as buy them outright. But she says they are also expanding the concept, making it into a community space.
They see bringing in bands, having poetry readings, and adding a coffee shop, so people can stay and visit. We’ll have more on this story in our 10:00 p.m. newscast.
