A former member of the Lafayette City Council has died.
Francis “Pappy” Landry served three terms on the Lafayette City Council and ran for City-Parish President in 1995.
Landry and his wife Billie Landry were married for 70 years.
A Rosary will be prayed on Thursday at 6:30 pm at Martin & Castille Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 2:00 pm at St. Genevieve Catholic Church.
Francis “Pappy” Landry was 94 years old.
