The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office needs help from the public in identifying a suspect involved in the burglary of a home.
In the early morning hours on October 12, 2018, deputies responded to the 1900 block of Jefferson Island Road in reference to a burglary. The suspect removed the bulbs from the homes floodlights and cut the wires outside of the home, supplying power to the alarm system and various other utilities. The suspect then unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry into the home by throwing car part into a window. A second window was later broken, and entry was made into the home. The suspect stole an X-box 360, an X-box Kinect and cash.
