MAURICE – A school teacher in Vermilion Parish will be taking her students to see PAW Patrol Live!

Ena Hebert, who teaches Pre-K4 at Cecil Picard Elementary School in Maurice, was chosen as the recipient of the Best Early Childhood Educator Rising Star Award.

The staff at the Cajundome surprised Hebert in her classroom Friday morning with flowers and a plaque as they shared the news with her and her students.

Complimentary of the Cajundome and VStar Entertainment Group, Hebert and her class will see the pups from the popular Nick Jr. series PAW Patrol come to life at the Cajundome as the first performance kicks off October 26.

Hebert was nominated by her friend, Danette Trahan, who says Hebert is full of passion for teaching and her students.
