You can now keep track of Iberia Parish’s budget with the help of a new feature on the parish government’s website.
On the home page, you’ll find a link that gives users access to how much tax money is collected and exactly where those dollars are going.
Parish President Larry Richard says they plan to update it every quarter.
“Every quarter we’re going to update this, and we’re going to show the people exactly how their money is being spent. And, I think it’s very important that we keep the people of Iberia Parish informed as to what’s going on with their dollars for their government,” said Richard.
