LSU allowing fraternities to tailgate, with some exceptions

LSU is now allowing fraternities and other student organizations to tailgate on campus, with a few exceptions.

Administrators announced Friday that the pre-game partying would be allowed on campus, barring frat houses and parade grounds, according to the Advocate.

Any group wishing to tailgate will need to register with the university.

WBRZ reports that University officials and LSUPD will also monitor those tailgates to ensure that certain regulation are being met, including no underage drinking and no common-source alcohol containers like kegs. Certain types of hard alcohol will also be banned. Read their story here

LSU’s next home game is October 13, 2018, against the University of Georgia.
