The identity of the Bayou Vista man killed in a crash has been released by police.
Richard Daigle was driving his vehicle Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Jupiter Street and Ross Lane in Bayou Vista when for unknown reasons he left the roadway and hit a house on Ross Lane, according to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum.
Daigle was pronounced dead at the scene.
