The Komen Acadiana Big Wigs stopped by GMA this morning to talk about their upcoming campaign in the fight against breast cancer.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with more from the group.
The campaign brings local corporate and community leaders as representatives in the fight against Breast Cancer.
During the four to six week campaign, each BigWig will raise or give a minimum of $1,000. Seventy-five percent of funds will go towards ensuring women in Acadiana receive access to essential breast health services, educational programs, and support research. The goal is to ultimately find a cure for breast cancer.

The BigWig’s will be revealed at tonight’s VIPink 2018 event at The Pavilion at Cypress Bayou Casino. The event begins at 7:00 pm.
