Congressman Clay Higgins wants all members of Congress drug tested.
Under his proposal, anyone who tests positive would go before an ethics committee. Higgins says if the bill passes, lawmakers would have to pay for their own drug tests.
“Elected congressman and elected senators should be held to the same kind of standards that regular working class Americans like truck drivers, welders, cops, firemen are held to every day, every month are subject to random drug screens across the country,” Higgins said.
