St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving a burglary at Steve’s Auto Repair in Opelousas.

On August 28, 2018, the owner of the business reported that two vehicles were broken into around 2:30 a.m. A neighbor’s home security camera was able to capture a white Nissan Altima with an aftermarket black rear bumper drive in his backyard next to the business, according to investigators. Two unidentified men are seen exiting the vehicle and removing items from the business. One of the suspects is also seen walking up to the camera and knocking it sideways wearing a Saints ball cap.

Stolen from the vehicles were five 20 inch Vogue tires, four G-10 Swanger hubcaps, and a 1200 watt X-Plode amplifier. The total loss of value was listed at more than $5,000 dollars.
