Ribbon Cutting For New Business Lab

Today, U.L. officials will be celebrating the opening of its new Maraist Financial Services Lab with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The lab is connected to F.G. Mouton Hall and faces the University’s Quadrangle. The $2.5 Million project will provide business students and faculty members with data resources and tools needed in portfolio management, financial strategy and analysis. The ribbon cutting ceremony is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. During that time,U.L. Lafayette’s B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration and the UL Lafayette Foundation will recognize alumnus Michael P. Maraist. The 1971 business administration graduate provided the necessary funding to begin construction of the lab.
