Opelousas Police have issued an update on the toddler found wandering in Opelousas yesterday.
The child was found walking down Creswell Lane. Late Saturday, police said her parents had been identified.
This morning, Opelousas Police say her uncle, who was supposed to be watching her, was booked with child desertion.
Ronanthony Brown, 29, was not properly supervising the child, police allege.
He was booked into the parish jail.
