American Humane paid a visit to the St. Landry Animal Shelter Saturday morning.
The group brought in vet students from LSU and McNeese, who did free vaccinations for the animals there. Some minor surgeries also were done.
The group also brought a production crew from the Hallmark Channel to get footage for a future program.
