New Iberia Police are investigating a shooting on St. Jude Street.
One man entered a home and shot the victim in the leg, a spokesman said.
The victim was transported to a Lafayette hospital, with what police believe to be a non-life-threatening injury.
The incident is still under investigation, the spokesman said.
