SLCC is looking for experienced healthcare workers interested in teaching full-time or as adjuncts.

The school is looking for:

  • Registered Nurses (MSN) for the ASN Program
  • Registered Nurses (ASN or BSN) for the PN Program
  • Licensed Practical Nurse for the Medical Assistant Program
  • Medical Lab Technician Instructors for the Allied Health Department

“The looming shortage we are expected to have in 2020 there is a great need for nurses and without the faculty and nurse educators we are not going to be able to produce enough nurses for the field,” says Rebecca Harris-Smith, Dean of Nursing for South Louisiana Community College.

Interested and qualified people are encouraged to go to www.solacc.edu to verify the required qualification and complete an application for immediate consideration, Harris-Smith said.
