LAFAYETTE- Tuesday went as advertised with a scattering of showers and storms that started making their presence felt right around lunch time, keeping temperatures subdued slightly.
While not everyone got showers it was hard to miss all the lightning we had within the storms as the atmosphere put on quite the light show Tuesday afternoon.
There’s not a lot of variety in the forecast this week each day looks like the one that came before it, by this time we know the drill with sunshine in the morning and showers in the afternoon.
Temperatures will be running in the low 90s once again in the afternoon although they’ll largely be dictated by the precise timing of clouds and showers which we won’t really know until they start to pop up.
This pattern will hold through the week, weekend, and maybe by next weekend it’ll be slightly drier.
