A two-hour documentary "Sugar Town" aired Monday evening on Investigation Discovery
The 2-hour documentary examined the March 2014 death of 22-year-old Victor White III while in police custody in New Iberia.
White was fatally shot in the back of a police car while being taken to the station. State Police and the District Attorney declined charges against anyone. After the investigations were closed, video was released showing White earlier in the evening standing with police with his hands handcuffed behind his back. He moved his hands to the front of his body to adjust his trousers in the video.
The show aired at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2018. The documentary is available with a cable subscription at IDGO.com
