The intersection at Hwy. 35 South and Hwy. 90 in Rayne will be closed for several hours while crews fix a broken electrical pole.
Police say an 18-wheeler hit the pole this afternoon and the intersection will be blocked while Entergy repairs the pole.
There were no injuries reported.
