Almond milk recalled over concerns product may contain actual milk

According to the Food and Drug Administration, HP Hood LLC is recalling several of their half-gallon cartons of refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze Almond Milk over concerns that the product may contain actual milk. 

The FDA says the allergen was not listed on the label of the products and that those with severe sensitivity to milk can run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions should they consume the product. 

145,254 half gallon cartons of Vanilla Almond Breeze have been affected, according to the FDA, and were shipped to the following states: 

AL, AR, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI

The affected almond milk has a use-by-date of September 2, 2018, and are stamped with the following codes:
