Louisiana’s elementary school teacher of the year is from Iberia Parish.
Tasha Jolivette-Jones, a teacher at Coteau Elementary School, took home the honor during a ceremony in Baton Rouge.
Also nominated in that category was Keyre Bradford, a teacher at Ridge Elementary in Lafayette Parish. Krotz Springs Elementary principal Ramica Robinson was nominated in the Principal of the Year category.
