New Iberia Police searching for women wanted in vehicle thefts

New Iberia Police are looking for two women wanted in connection with the theft of two vehicles. The police department says they responded to the theft of a vehicle from a business in the 200 block of West Admiral Doyle Drive on Wednesday, July 25. An investigation into the theft revealed that two women arrived at the business in an SUV and got into a pick-up truck that was parked at the business. The two then drove off in the pick-up truck. The vehicle is described by police as a 2007 gray Chevrolet 4-door pick-up truck with the Louisiana license plate C155165.Surveillance video at the business captured images of the two suspects.   Police found that the Sports Utility Vehicle the women had driven to the business had also been reported stolen out of Lafayette. Anyone with information on the identities of the two women or the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle is asked to call police at 337-369-2306 or leave a tip at www.p3tip.com.
