Parents of Lafayette Parish students who use bus transportation can now access their child’s bus information via the LPSS bus call center and online resources. Lafayette Parish School System says that parents who have questions about their child’s bus transportation can now call a representative from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday through Friday at 521-RIDE. Questions can also be emailed to LPSS’s routing department at cfbuller@lpssonline.comSchool system officials say that bus information can also be obtained online by clicking on the 521-RIDE banner on the LPSS home page. Parents with access or who register for the Parent Portal will be able to access their eLink bus stop locator and bus driver contact information along with updated information for bus stops. Bus information is being uploaded into the system each night so parents may not see their child’s bus information for a full 24 hours. Only children registered in the school district’s database as bus riders will be able to obtain information on bus transportation. Student’s who are not registered will have to do so with the assistance of the child’s base school.
