Louisiana Outdoor Expo and Boat Show taking over the Cajundome July 27-29

The Louisiana Outdoor Expo and Boat Show is returning to the Cajundome and Convention Center July 27-29.The premiere event for everything outdoors, from hunting to camping to outdoor activities, is now even bigger with the addition of the boat exhibitions.This weekend’s entertainment includes: Fetch-N-Fish dog and fishing shows – Fetch-N-Fish will be entertaining audiences with fishing demonstrations and dog jumping. WOW Whitetails – World’s Outstanding Whitetails features two collections of the largest whitetail deer in the world.West Texas Rattlesnake Show – Rattlesnake Dave Richardson has been wrangling snakes for 27 years and has never been bitten! You can watch him "snake whisper" some of the most venomous snakes in the world!Randy Oitker – Seven balloons, seven arrows, one shot? It sounds impossible, but it’s one of many trick shots archery expert Randy Oitker manages to pull off. Randy has been featured in Ripley’s Believe it or Not and the Guinness Book of World Records.Steve Johnson and Producer Kenny of the Walton and Johnson Show (Saturday 11 a.m. -2 p.m. only) – The Walton and Johnson show has been entertaining audiences since 1983. Their show has a unique mix of opinionated and compelling talk, celebrity guests, musical elements and beloved fictional characters.2018 World Waterfowl Calling Championships – Dust off those duck calls and get ready; the World Championship is coming to Lafayette! General admission is $8. Kids ages 5-11 get in for $3. Weekend passes are $16; $6 for kids ages 5-11. The event will be open from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
