St. Landry, Evangeline United Way requesting donations for Stuff the Bus campaign

The United Way of St. Landry and Evangeline Parish will be holding a Stuff the Bus collection for students this school year. Organizers say the collection will take place August 1 through August 10, 2018. Items needed include: backpacks Crayons,  calculators paper towels scissors 3 ring binders pocket folders markers pencils hand sanitizer  rulers copy paper glue sticks Kleenex notebooks tape arts and craft supplies construction paper pensGift cards are also being accepted. Collection sites include The United Way offices located on 5367 I-49 S. Service Road and Ville Platte City Hall. Collection times are between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for both locations.
