President Trump’s star destroyed on Hollywood Walk of Fame

According to KABC in Los Angeles, President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been destroyed. Witnesses and police told KABC that a man removed a pickaxe from a guitar case and began to swing at the star at around 3:00 am on Wednesday. Large chunks of concrete can be seen in video and photos surrounding the area where the president’s star is placed on Hollywood Boulevard. (Video courtesy KCAL/KCBS / CNN)Police say there is no description for the person who vandalized the star. This is the second time that the President Trump’s star has been vandalized. In October 2016 a man used a sledgehammer and pickaxe to break up the president’s star. That man, identified as James Otis, was arrested and charged in connection to the vandalism. Read more on the 2016 incident, here.
