Thirty children who live at the Outreach Center had a shopping spree for back-to-school stuff at Academy Sports + Outdoors this morning. Academy annually makes back-to-school shopping a little easier for kids in our community. Each child received a $100 Academy gift card to use towards athletic apparel, backpacks, footwear and other school necessities during the donation.This is the program’s ninth year and it has grown to include over 100 similar events, benefiting more than 3,000 kids throughout the Southeast and Midwest U.S.
