Opelousas Tourism has announced their dates and lineup for the 2018 Music and Market. Organizers say the event brings together the best in Louisiana music & fresh produce from the local area. Attendees can find a range of fresh vegetables from mustard greens to sweet potatoes.A free concert takes place on Fridays from September 28 to October 26, 2018. The fall lineup includes: September 28 : Deuce Chambers & The Zydeco Integrity October 5: Jamie Bergeron & The Kickin’ Cajuns October 12: T Broussard & The Zydeco Steppers w/special guest Mary Broussard October 19: Sweet Cecilia October 26: Wallace Trahan & Rice and GravyThe Music and Market opens from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Opelousas Farmers Market Pavilion, 828 E. Landry St., Opelousas.The market is sponsored by the City of Opelousas.
