COPPELL, Texas (AP) – Texas and nationwide retail gasoline prices have declined this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported prices at the pump statewide slipped 3 cents to settle at $2.63 per gallon. Drivers across the country are paying an average $2.86 per gallon, which is down 2 cents from a week ago.

The association survey found Midland has the most expensive gasoline in Texas this week at an average $3.12 per gallon. Three cities have the cheapest gasoline in Texas – San Antonio, McAllen and Amarillo – at an average $2.53 per gallon.
