The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman at a grocery store in Sulphur.
Deputies say that 48-year-old Samuel C. Blackmon of DeRidder was arrested on Saturday, July 15 after it was reported by a victim that Blackmon exposed himself to her while he was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of a grocery store.
The victim told deputies that as she was loading groceries into her vehicle, Blackmon, who was parked next to her, allegedly laid back in his seat, removed his shorts and began to masturbate. Deputies say the victim was able to take a picture of the car and license plate before Blackmon fled the scene.
A traffic stop was conducted on Blackmon’s vehicle in Moss Bluff. Deputies say that they observed that Blackmon was only wearing underwear during the stop. Blackmon was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on charges of obscenity. His bond was set at $7,500.
