A trustee and a woman are facing obscenity charges after they were caught having sex at the Rapides Parish Courthouse Wednesday morning.
According to witnesses, a commotion was heard in a fifth-floor stairwell at the courthouse and when an employee went to investigate, they observed a man and a woman having sex. When the two saw the employee, they quickly gathered themselves and fled the area, stated Capt. Tommy Carnline, spokesman for the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The employee identified the man as a trustee assigned to cleaning duty at the courthouse, according to Carnline. Investigators say court security located the suspect, identified as Miguel Camille Glorioso, 20, of Alexandria. He was identified by witnesses and arrested and booked into the Rapides Parish Jail on an obscenity charge.
Investigators identified the woman as Jamie Lee Coutee, 19, of Pineville. She was located Wednesday night in Alexandria, arrested and booked into the Rapides Parish Jail on an obscenity charge.
Coutee was released on a $1,500 bond. Glorioso was removed from trustee status as well as the courthouse work detail. He remains in jail.
