Church Point Police are asking for help from the public to locate a man accused of domestic violence, and of trying to disarm the officer who answered the victim’s call for help.
Brandon Jamal Savoy, 23, of Arnaudville, is wanted for domestic battery with child endangerment; domestic abuse, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a firearm, battery of a police officer, disarming a police officer and resisting a police officer with force or violence.
Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone sees him or knows where he is, they should call police.
Savoy does have family in the Arnaudville area, police say.
