Louisiana State Police are currently on a scene of a crash on US 167.
State Police say there are serious injuries reported in the accident which is along 167 going south towards Vermilion Parish from Lafayette. Video shows that a single vehicle struck a telephone pole off the side of the roadway. It is unclear how many people may have been in the car at the time of the crash or how many may be injured.
The accident is between LA-697 and LA-696, according to those in the area. Police say the roadway is still open.
