A 12-year-old child was shot in a drive-by shooting around midnight in Lake Charles.
On July 11, 2018, at 12:41 p.m., Lake Charles Police responded to a 911 call at the intersection of Shattuck and O’Brien streets in reference to a drive-by shooting, according to police. Upon arrival, patrol officers found the boy. He was transported to a local hospital.
