Some kids in Opelousas are taking home tips from former New Orleans Saints player Devery Henderson.
The Opelousas native hosted a free one-day football camp at Opelousas High School.
The camp lets kids show off their skills and participate in NFL drills.
"We’re trying to groom these kids to become productive citizens in life, and it starts here. It starts somewhere, and you’ve got to catch them while they are young," said Henderson.
